The triumphant entry from A-Bell Alarms Company revolved around a retrofit of an existing alarm system. The location? A sprawling, 100K+ square foot industrial building located in Temecula, CA. This installation employed a cutting-edge Resideo ProSeries system, showcasing the team’s adaptability and innovation.

Retrofitting a Challenge: The ProSeries System Installation

Chris Sizemore, co-owner of A-Bell Alarms Company, recounts the process: “Initially, the client sought to repair the existing system. However, the system had deteriorated to a state of unreliability due to multiple site remodels. We proposed a more effective solution: the ProSeries system.”

Typically, a building of this magnitude, replete with concrete walls and metal cages, poses a challenge for wireless systems. However, the A-Bell Alarms team, led by co-owner Kathy Sizemore, turned this challenge into an opportunity. By strategically placing the ProSeries system in a central location and adding a repeater, they achieved extensive coverage. They also installed four remote keypads at the main employee entry points, further enhancing the system’s effectiveness.
